Top Italian Symbols as great Tattoos

Many people consider that the Italian tattoos are really great and for this reason they place them on their skin. As many of us know, Italy is a great country which has a wonderful art history. It seems that half of the best painters and sculptors of the world were born in Italy and maybe this is the reason why the Italian designs are considered as great symbols for tattoos.
Italian Symbols for Great Tattoos
Even though it does not really represent an artistic view, one popular Italian tattoo (of course, it is popular among Italians) is the national Flag. Usually, it is differently created to ensure a unique symbol but it still looks as the Italian flag. The flag represents three bands of red, white and green, which are vertically placed. The green band presents the base of the flag which is attached to the hoist.
Another traditional tattoo which also very popular is the white star. It presents five points, a cogwheel and a red border. The cogwheel also has two branches, one of olive and the other one of oak. These two branches are held by a red ribbon that wears the phrase “Italian Republic”.
As well, the Italian horn represents a well-known symbol which is widely used in tattoos. The horn is similar to the one of antelope, having the shape of crescent moon. It comes from ancient Greek times and many people believe that it protects against evil. Today, many people have this symbol tattooed on their bodies, as they believe that it can definitely bring good luck.
Italian Symbols for Great Tattoos
Only a few countries have so many distinct tattoo signs as Italy. Many Italians choose various renowned works of art and monuments such as the Forum, Colosseum, Vatican City and Pantheon. All of them are great themes which can be tattooed on different body areas. Additionally, another important location is Venice. It highlights various themes with its waterways and canals. Various tattoos represent some of these themes with gondolas floating along canals.
Many people choose the shape of the country. Similar to the shape of a boot, the culinary Italian sign, which is formed by grapes, cheese and the jug of wine, usually embellishes the Italian map. As well, anyone can chose Italian words which can be engraved in gothic calligraphy. These definitely look great. However, those who select the Italian written tattoos should be careful to get the right spelling. This way, they have a beautiful, cool and suggestive tattoo.
