Writing Motivational Messages as tattoos

Tattooing is perhaps done by many just to follow the current trend. In such cases it will be wiser to avoid putting some ink on our body to spell out something which does not mean anything to us and does not speak to us.
Motivational messages as tattoos
Tattooing in itself is not such a bad thing if it is done for some purpose. It could be a statement about us or a motivational message. If one does not believe in the saying that is tattooed or is not following the path guided by the saying then it is irrelevant. This could be very motivational if it is done as an after event to make a statement or to be reminded of certain memorable times in the past.
The words “what goes around comes around” are tattooed on the wrist of the celebrity singer Pink. It can be considered as a petty comment or backlash than motivational.
Another famous personality Megan tattooed the legends “there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART” and “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies” on her body. It may be true that these words are relevant for Megan but broken hearts are very commonplace and there is nothing to be considered motivational in this.
But what Christina Aguilera tattooed on her lower back is something different. Her tattoo says “I am to my beloved what my beloved is to me”. This is a much generalized message with clear reference to a shared love. Any individual who share a love and a sentiment will find this inspiring. The slogan “I am my beloved’s, my beloved is mine” tattooed on Posh Spice Victoria Beckham is also similar in nature. Her husband David Beckham wears the Latin phrase “Ut Amam Et Foveam” which means “so that I Love and Cherish” along with the name and portrait of his wife, and their sons, Romeo, Brooklyn and Cruz.
Motivational messages as tattoos
Angelina Jolie’s famous tattoos share some information on her private life with us. A tattoo on her right forearm says “Strength of Will” which means a lot if we understand that it covers a previous tattoo she got with former husband Billy Bob Thornton.
All of us will have some message to give out like this. Some words to describe our views on the world, someone liners to remember some important incident or something to let others know of our outlook on life. It will not be advisable to inscribe everything on your body. Think twice before deciding to do a tattoo. It should be something that really means a lot to you and at the same time it should be of some interest to the viewers also. Do not make a tattoo just out of inspiration over a few beers.
